BLITZED: LIVERPOOL LIVES - PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

Museum of Liverpool, Pier Head, Liverpool, Liverpool City Region, L3 1DG

80 years on, Museum of Liverpool captures the devastation and resilience of local people during the Blitz in rare photographs. Displaying up to 60 photographs taken by Liverpool City Police from 1940 – 1941, a free new photography exhibition at the Museum of Liverpool reveals the devastation the Blitz brought to the lives and city of Liverpool. From the legendary triple-winning success of Red Rum, to our present day successors, Many Clouds and most recent champion Tiger Roll, there's always a story to be told. Once again the world will stop in its tracks, as 600 million people watch live on television. 40 horses and jockeys will line up to race across the famous fences. You could be at Aintree to witness the drama unfold in person. Grand National Thursday 2nd April will feature Grade One racing show-stoppers and is one of the highest quality race days in the racing calendar. Ladies Day 3rd April is full of fashion, colour and fabulous fun. Saturday 4th April is legendary Grand National Day.
