THIS mug has a rare photograph of the FA Cup, taken on the tarmac of Liverpool John Lennon Airport on the team's return to their home city, following the dramatic win of the FA Cup final of 2006. This final took place at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, as the new Wembley Stadium was still being finished. It had looked as if all was lost near the very end of the match with West Ham on 3 goals to Liverpool's 2. It was down to Liverpool Captain, Steven Gerrard MBE (pictured holding cup) to save the day, by scoring the goal that would save Liverpool and take the game into extra-time. It was then down to a penalty shoot-out, resulting in West Ham United losing. It is considered, by most fans who watched it, to be one of the greatest Cup Finals in history!
