This is a
simple step by step example of how to change your PC
desktop icons.
|
|
Step
1.
|
|
|
When you
have downloaded your icons from our site and installed
them onto C drive as the install program should do, you
can then start to change your icons.
|
|
Step
2.
|
|
|
Right click
on the icon you want to change and a box like this one
should pop up. Select "Properties"
and click on. For folders pick option "Customize".
|
|
Step
3.
|
|
|
This a box
opens on "General". Click
on Short Cuts and it should then look like this.
Then click on to the button that says "Change
Icon..."
|
|
Step
4.
|
|
|
Now click on
"Browser" button ext to the
highlighted text.
|
|
Step
5.
|
|
|
How a box
just like any other folder box should open up. Go
to the folder that you have saved on the C
drive. By Clicking on the on "Look
in" (a text box) select the C drive.

Step
6.
|
|
|
Now look for
the folder you saved the down load to on your C drive
and click on to it.
|
|
Step
7.
|
|
|
Select the
con you want and press "Open".
Then you will be left with a screen that has a button on
that says "Apply". Click
on it and that's it...
|
