Entry is free and rides are from just £1, you can even bring your own picnic and the family dog! Great for a day trip, a holiday visit or a couple of hours at the weekend. With easy access from Liverpool and Manchester, via Mersey Rail and by bus, from Preston and Blackpool, there's also generous parking for those travelling by car. Southport, with its miles of sandy beach, historic dunes, golf courses, restaurants, bars and Victorian shopping arcades is the perfect setting for the park, which offers entertainment from big thrill rides through to something gentler for the little ones. The town is also home to a number of landmark events from the famous flower show and the air show through to one of the best fireworks displays in the UK. The park is clean, bright and bursting with activities for everyone, from tots to teens, mums, dads and grandparents. The 32 acre site is home to around 100 rides, cafes, an indoor play area, amusements and bars, an arcade, performance areas and Southport’s premier F1 go-kart track. Plus Battlefield Live offers the region’s premier laser shoot out environment, great fun for anyone from aged seven and above.
You’ll find all the traditional seaside treats, from ice-cream to candy floss, and plenty of your favourite stalls where you can hook a duck or target shoot to win good quality prizes. As well as sampling a dish or drink from one of the refreshments outlets within the park you can bring your own food to our picnic areas and relax at a table, or whip out a rug and set up the family feast on one of the grassed areas.
